WOYWW 222 of Sep.

Well it's been a long week and a fast one at the same time if that makes any sense to any one.  Here is my desk for this week.  Unstaged- Uncleaned-and kinda unused at the moment.
But on the plus side I really did get something done.. I made boxes and sorted my pens and markers. I just couldn't see spending a ton of money on something when I wasn't sure what or how I wanted it. I'm still not sure.. they are t clued together or anything yet.
And in this photo is my other cat that a lot of you was asking about, Sadly she is no longer with us. I truly miss seeing here blue eyes.. when she was outside they looked like crystals or blue ice or something.
Thank you for the well wishings for her.
Bright Blessing to you and yours and have a crafty day and fun desk hoping.

  2. I have a friend who bought a wine rack and stuck clear plastic glasses in it for her pen storage. I like what you have done, since the pens are flat this way. Hope you get the look you are after. Happy WOYWW from #2.

  7. It is always good to keep on top of the housekeeping in your craft space - saves time looking for stuff when you're mid project! Have a good week MMx #45

  8. Hello again Roberta! Your desk does look busy! I know when we have to spend our time doing some organizing, we feel accomplished but it's hard to show everyone. Like I completely reorganized my ribbon stash by color--so proud of myself, but no photo of that. So sorry about your kitty. Hugs! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #11

  11. I'm still sad about the kitty. She looked like a sweet little ball of purr. I like your idea to make some pen storage to try it out. I too, thought about buying something but wasn't sure it was what I wanted. Right now I have a little lock box suitcase (make up case style) thing that my Copics are in. It is full though. Hey, you can actually see it this week in my view of my wall. It is on top of the paper holder, far right, little black and silver case.

  16. Is that a handmade journal I spy on your desk?? I'd also love to hear more about how you did your pen/marker storage. I'm all about recycle, repurpose, reuse. I really LOVE your blog background. It's very beautiful. TY for stopping by my desk. Hopefully I'll get my little book finished soon. I used cereal boxes and cardboard to make it. I'm truly sorry about your cat. ((((HUGS))))

  18. Yes, a pet cat is special . I think those of us who are cat lovers, are quite different from dog lovers. I kind of like dogs- at a distance, but cats are so quirky, and bad tempered, , and eccentric and so entertaining.
That markers storage is awesome!! I have about 15 and thought that was a lot!! And I'm a pen collector!hehe
    Judy #20 also new follower.
ps thanks for lovely comment on my blog.

  19. Judy (above) got it just right about being a cat lover! I like dogs too but wouldn't want to own one....it's cats all the way for me, characters one and all. And yours was a beauty, look at those eyes....they could see deep into your soul, I bet.
Good for you for sorting out and seeing what you have before launching into a project. It's all to easy just to go and buy more stash..this is a make do and mend sort of thinking which I am attempting to do as well. Do I make a lot of stuff? I guess maybe I do but I don't watch much tv and I can't sit without my hands doing something be it knitting, crochet or patchwork!

  20. Oh wow, what a beautiful cat she was and what striking eyes. You must miss her tremendously. I know I miss all y fur babies and can't put myself through losing one again. Losing next door's cat was bad enough the other week.
Good for you making your own storage - I love doing that - recycling is great fun!
Hugs and Thanks for visiting me earlier - Neet xx

  21. Goodness me I am so sorry about your cat, you must so miss her and I can see why you were drawn to those big beautiful eyes, they truly are amazing. She has a special place in your heart where she will always stay. I like your storage idea and have been looking at some for awhile but they are so expensive, but yours looks good. Thanks for visiting me already, work has been getting in the way hence the late return.

  22. Hi Roberta I just had a look at your video, and really like your mini book.I made one for my mother, but she just didn't "get" it I think. She gave it back a while ago, and I felt quite disappointed!!Her friends at the Nursing Home had written lovely notes for her, and I had lots of little pockets to put the notes in.
I pretty much gave up making minis after that.
    Glad your mum liked hers!!
