New Tags

Well here is a shot of a few of the new tags I got done yesterday. They are on the cuties side. But I still think they will work.  They would be cute to color in also. Take a look and tell me what you think. They are better than my video.  lol

Where am I this week ?

Ok, well this is something totally new!  I know its not in good lighting but I did the best I could and hay at least it worked. For me that is a big plus all on its own. 
Ok sooo where am I?  I am in Oakland Maryland at the Wisp resort. Yep never been to a ski resort much less a golf place. All perks of my wonderful husband!  But looks like we won't be staying all week so I don't think we are going to have time to do anything.  :-(  But that may be good ... he want  to ride the seated coaster thru the woods. Sounds like fun but the zip line sounds fun too.  Booth Im not so sure I have the nerve to do.  I think the older I get the more leary I get.  Not sure if that is a real word but there it is.  Well lets post this and see if it really dose work.

BOS sheets

This is the latest set of Book of shadow sheets and other goodies that went out last week. You saw some of the cards posted and I will post the The tags Tera did if we get permission. They turned out great. I had lots and lots of fun and most of all enjoyed making a new friend.  Thanks to Mel for that :-)

Break time

In the middle of moving and changing and trying to figure out where to put what my brain went NO MORE!  So I sat down and made a card for my Mom. It was nice to just set and play with some colors again. I'm not good with change so this is a wee bit stressful on this girl. lol

The stamps in side are my new BoBunny's and yep I love them. The little girl, flowers and butterfly came with the Scrapsbook etc magazine that I also just got.

   I had lots of lovely comments to get to and Im so sorry but as you can see I have lost them all before I got done with them.  Good news is my daughter changed the setting so it should make it easer for people to leave a message and get it and all that good stuff.  To the people I didn't get back to, again I am so sorry.

WOYWW : What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 218

Good late morning.. this is my 2nd week  here on  WOYWW and look what you have made me do.. you and my Daughter.. WORK! And work a lot.  Not sure where to start. But here is a shot of my desk (s) as of 15 min ago.  then I will give you or try to give you a short run down of whats been going on.

Ok I wish I would of taken a before we started photo.. but just didn't think of it. But her is a clip of the mess we had to figurer out and the mess kinda of the room in the middle of moving things.

 

Now to me that's a lot of boards to figure out where they go. And that's not even all of them yet. But good news my daughter got it for Free for helping a friend move.

 

 

 

My Tera working very hard in this heat just to do this for me..Im so very blessed! But as you can see the bottom is on, and working around other things in the room was a real PAIN!

Ok most of it done..yippy!

 OK all done.. at least in place.. right WRONG

Changed our mind like females are known to do and put it on the other wall cause I like to work at the window.. we must be nuts.. two days of moving this stuff.

ok now it has found its home and so has the other desk.. and Sam our cat has picked his cubby too.

Now some how in doing this I even got that cover page from last week done and we have been car shopping till dark for the last few days.  So now its time to clean house, clean this room and try to getting things put away.  I just have a mess all over the place.  wish me luck.  Thank you for looking and Bright blessing to all of you  :-)

WOYWW (what's on your Workdesk Wednesday)

Hello friends,  This is my first post on WOYWW (what's on your Workdesk Wednesday). I'm hoping this is going to post right. Any way this is what  on mine.. my new large art journal that I got a killer price for of 5.00! I was just doing some prep work on a few sheets a few days ago.  I think its dry..lol  I got busy and just haven't been able to get back to it.

This book is huge and I already love it. Just what to do with it I'm not sure as of yet.

Aromatherapy Modeling Dough

Aromatherapy Modeling Dough
***I would recommend you do not give this dough to small children as they have a tendency to think everything is edible, or at least should be, and if its not it will fit into the DVD or Blue ray player and CD player you just got.***

1 cup flour
1 cup warm water
2tsp. cream of tartar
1tsp. cooking oil
1/4 cup salt
Essential oils of choice (One should obviously stay away from oils that could cause a serious problem to the skin, etc). If color is desired food coloring or Kool-Aid powder work well. Kool-Aid also comes in a nice color variety:)

Mix all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until smooth. Remove dough from the pan and knead until blended smooth. If you want colors, add food coloring or a pinch of Kool-Aid now until the desired color is made. Let cool. Now to make it aromatic, I roll the dough into a ball and push a hole in it with my thumb. I then add a few drops of an essential oil (usually 1-3 to start) and knead the dough thoroughly. Sniff. Keep doing this until you get the aroma you are looking for.

Brown--Benzoin, Patchouly, or Cedarwood
Orange--Orange or Bergamot
Yellow--Lemon or Lemongrass
Green--Pine or Clary Sage
Red--Palmarosa or Geranium
Purple--Lavender or Ylang-Ylang
Light Blue--Rosemary or Eucalyptus
Dark Blue--Sandalwood or Lavender
Pink--Ylang Ylang or Grapefruit
White--Peppermint or Sweet Birch.
