New BOS sheets almost done.

This is  what I have been working on.. yea me.. getting stuff done. I guess it helps here in Ohio when the weather starts cooling down and my brain can work and think better.. lol   Well so sure about that think part, but sounds good to me at the moment.  

 

This sheet I just love!!! it is super dark and wish I could copy them.. but it just doesn't work that way.

This one was soaked for a few days in heavy coffee and a cinnamon tea mix.

 

 Now this pile are all just a little different , but yet the same. you can kinda tell if you look at the bottom. should have taken more photos. These are just tacked down for the moment till I am sure this is how I want them.  Any Ideas. ( stamped out and then cut in to the shapes I want or the part that I want to use. Then tacked down on the paper )

 Another really nice dark one.. I love the dark staining lines. This one was stamped , then masked off the front part and stamped the window onto the back.. pretty cool isn't it.  My daughters doing.  Got to love it.. then soaked in the staining mix.

 

This one.. just different.. It is stamped and ready for staining. I think it will make a great love or friendship page.. or future spell page since I do have a crystal ball on it too.  This one will be fun to color.

 

Well that's it for today.. I hope you get some ideas to get you started on a new page in your book.  Remember you can do anything..  paint, stamp, stain, color.  You do not have to make your pages look like old book sheets you see on tv shows.. yes I know it makes them look cool... just think in time they will be cool no matter what.   Heres a tip/hit cut out newspaper dates or adds and clue on to your sheet for the date, its  a nice little touh.





Craft room mess!

I don't know about you.. but I can tell you that I am having a time of it trying to organize my stuff.  Oh where to start I always the big thing. Then what to put where and how. So what I have been doing is grouping my stamps in boxes or tubs. .  like cats that changed to animals.   ok what do I do with the pack that has swindle and dots and dogs and cats in it. I don't want to break up the set. But I have a box just for designs too.  See my issue.  Ok the other is I just have was to much and to small of a space.  To many ideas and they just get lost.  I am taking on a do NOT go in to craft stores for a while. I don't need anything. Trust me other than a personal organize to come in here and give me a hand.  I think my brain just shuts off when I come here...is that possible? 

The cubes I thought would be great ... it is I just cant get it together in any kind of order it seems.

 

This mess on all the little desk top drives me in sane! I'm going to work on the TODAY!

The wall unit and stamps is the only thing that seems to be right but the desk under it just kills it.

and this mess ... ugg  is in no order of any kind. I tried. But id didn't work or come out that way.

 HELP HELP HELP

 

I know that I would be more productive if I didn't have the mess cause I just get side tracked with it and end up messing with other stuff. Plus it doesn't give you that feel good feeling being all over the place. 

Any way I do hope that I can make some head way in here today.. I have a can of Mocha and Elvis to play.. to keep me going.  Wish me luck.

Goodie to go with eBay order

Hello Tubies, Well just wanted to share a few photo's of some of the goodies that are going out as extras with one of my BOS's order. I am really pleased. At first I though on no how hard it was to come up something. She only gave me 2 things she liked.  Orange or brown,  no animals no flowers or anything. OK seems that should have made it easy. it wasn't. Orange is not a color i normally work with alot. Any way the tags turned out good. I hope she likes them.

I just love this so I had to put this on. 
  I have spent most of my day doing not much of anything. Hubby left to go to work out of town and my daughter came over and took me out of  town shopping for some craft stuff.   There is just so much stuff out there and not enough time.  But I have plans to work on sheets most of the day tomorrow or maybe tags. not sure yet.  But I need to get some things made to go out with my eBay stuff as free be's for fun.   Have fun and love and light to every one.

House cleansing with sage

Hello, I'm  going to do a house cleanse in the morning in Frazeyburg Ohio,  and check out her horse and kittens. Will be a good day with a old friend. Cant wait :-}  This is what I kinda have in mind and think I will take to use.

  White sage that I grow.. 

 Open all doors and windows. 

light the sage and get it to a nice low smoking.

   Going to keep it simple!!

In each room and don't forget the corners.

We will use one of these:

I cleanse this room of any impurities,

negativity, or anything that dose not suit or

support the people that live here.

 Cleanse this house and it clear

 only good may enter here.

 

May sure to cup your hands and shower your self in the smoke when you are done and to give thanks.

 

 

Its a good thing to do once a month or more or less depending on you feel. 

Dose things feel icky around your place?? give it a cleanse.

 Yes and good cleaning and good spiritual cleansing can make a big difference.

BOS sheets

This is the latest set of Book of shadow sheets and other goodies that went out last week. You saw some of the cards posted and I will post the The tags Tera did if we get permission. They turned out great. I had lots and lots of fun and most of all enjoyed making a new friend.  Thanks to Mel for that :-)

Break time

In the middle of moving and changing and trying to figure out where to put what my brain went NO MORE!  So I sat down and made a card for my Mom. It was nice to just set and play with some colors again. I'm not good with change so this is a wee bit stressful on this girl. lol

The stamps in side are my new BoBunny's and yep I love them. The little girl, flowers and butterfly came with the Scrapsbook etc magazine that I also just got.

Aromatherapy Modeling Dough

Aromatherapy Modeling Dough
***I would recommend you do not give this dough to small children as they have a tendency to think everything is edible, or at least should be, and if its not it will fit into the DVD or Blue ray player and CD player you just got.***

1 cup flour
1 cup warm water
2tsp. cream of tartar
1tsp. cooking oil
1/4 cup salt
Essential oils of choice (One should obviously stay away from oils that could cause a serious problem to the skin, etc). If color is desired food coloring or Kool-Aid powder work well. Kool-Aid also comes in a nice color variety:)

Mix all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until smooth. Remove dough from the pan and knead until blended smooth. If you want colors, add food coloring or a pinch of Kool-Aid now until the desired color is made. Let cool. Now to make it aromatic, I roll the dough into a ball and push a hole in it with my thumb. I then add a few drops of an essential oil (usually 1-3 to start) and knead the dough thoroughly. Sniff. Keep doing this until you get the aroma you are looking for.

Brown--Benzoin, Patchouly, or Cedarwood
Orange--Orange or Bergamot
Yellow--Lemon or Lemongrass
Green--Pine or Clary Sage
Red--Palmarosa or Geranium
Purple--Lavender or Ylang-Ylang
Light Blue--Rosemary or Eucalyptus
Dark Blue--Sandalwood or Lavender
Pink--Ylang Ylang or Grapefruit
White--Peppermint or Sweet Birch.
